My passion is helping those who have been impacted by interpersonal trauma to begin the healing process towards recovery & wholeness. Those who have been personally affected by traumatic events know all too well the sense of grief & loss, shame, embarrassment, & even judgment these issues often bring.
I believe that unresolved negative life experiences from past trauma are the primary source of issues such as depression & other mood disorders, anxiety, relationship challenges, interpersonal conflict, identity issues, & self-esteem challenges. My approach to counseling is one of compassion, strength, integrity, & authenticity. I partner with clients to develop the tools necessary to heal & to maintain optimal mental health.
I offer a calm, compassionate, & nonjudgmental environment for individuals, couples, & families of all backgrounds. I also enjoy facilitating therapeutic groups.
Healing from trauma, loss, & unexpected life change is not easy. However, I am committed to walking with clients along their healing journey while helping them develop courage & discover their resilience to heal & thrive. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey.
I am currently specialize in Domestic Violence Therapeutic Support and I am also Phase 1 Brainspotting trained.
Rev. Juandolyn Stokes
Rev. Juandolyn Stokes is Pastor of Deeper Life in Christ Ministries, Conyers, Ga. She is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University (Broadcast Management), Beulah Heights University (Biblical Leadership) and the Interdenominational Theological Center (M.Div.,, M.A.C.E.). She is CEO of Stokes Center for Higher Education, which is a training & curriculum development company. With a rich history in media, she is adaily radio host of “On Point w/ Juandolyn Stokes” on WAOK Radio Station/Audacy Global Network. She is a television host for the “Atlanta Live Show” on WATC TV 57. As Adjunct Professor at Beulah Heights University, she teaches classes on Urban Evangelism, Systematic Theology, Psychology of Worship and more. She has authored several books, including The Prayer Closet, Am I That Woman, What Have I Been Called to Do? and The Psalms: A Preparatory Study of the Psalms. Rev. Stokes is a care-giving pastoral care provider, noted speaker and preacher and community leader, whose mission is to educate, empower and inspire all to live WELL and win WELL.
